Let’s be real — animal testing is outdated, unnecessary, and cruel. We were shocked to learn how many household and personal care products are still tested on animals in 2025, even when there are safe, effective alternatives readily available. And we knew we didn’t want Canary to be one of those brands.
But simply saying “we don’t test on animals” wasn’t enough. We wanted to back it up with a gold standard of accountability, and that’s where Leaping Bunny comes in. Their certification is the most trusted cruelty-free standard out there — a globally recognized program that requires companies to prove their entire supply chain is free of animal testing. Not just us, but our suppliers and manufacturers too.
No shortcuts. No loopholes. No animal suffering.
Why It Matters
It’s easy to think animal testing is a problem “over there” or from the past. But millions of animals around the world still suffer in labs each year, often in the name of beauty or convenience. We believe that’s a tradeoff no one should have to make — especially when it’s so avoidable.
