What the science says
A recent in vitro (lab) study tested a dentifrice tablet with 5 % nHAP against:

A standard fluoride toothpaste

A placebo (tablet with no active ingredient)

No treatment at all
They exposed bovine enamel blocks to a mouth-like bacterial/acid challenge and measured how hard the enamel stayed (a proxy for how much damage happened). The results?

The nHAP tablet prevented demineralization about as well as the fluoride toothpaste.

The placebo tablet did better than nothing, but was much less protective than nHAP or fluoride.

The untreated group lost the most enamel integrity.
In other words, under controlled lab conditions, nHAP performed very strongly — which supports what we already believe about its potential in everyday oral care.
Of course, real mouths are more complicated (saliva, brushing technique, diet), but that study gives good support for nHAP’s promise.
